Introduction
O.K., I'll bet you're thinking to yourself, "What in the WORLD is 'National Sarah Day'? Why have I not heard
of it before? And if it's a national holiday, why am I at work (or school)???" All very fine questions, to be sure. Which
is why I have dedicated this website to answering such profound ponderings, my friend!
What is National Sarah Day?
About 3 years ago, a friend of mine (obviously a Sarah) and I decided that we as a substantial portion of
the world's population, needed a national holiday to celebrate being who are are--princesses, by definition. You've heard
the saying "It's not easy being a princess, but somebody's gotta do it." And it's so true. Have you tried being a princess??
It's not as easy as tea and crumpets! Which is why we designated November 15 as the day in which we princesses take a break,
rest, and celebrate our very being.
You say it's a "national" holiday....so why haven't I heard of it?
Well first of all, is your name Sarah? If not, you would have no reason to have heard of it. Second of all,
we are princesses, not gods. Although we have declared it a "national holiday," these things take time to come into effect.
We began our nationalizing efforts by submitting a request to BlueMountain Greeting Cards for them to make an e-greeting card
or two for us. However, they never responded to the request and have since become a "members only" organization. Since the
rejection of our request, efforts have slowed, but have not halted. This website will be a good tool to get the word out and
get other Sarahs to join us in this rather large task.
And why am I still at work/school today?
What do you care? You didn't even know it was a holiday. Besides, are you a Sarah?
